This Is It!

Welcome to my website! I am finally beginning my own personal site. The inspiration for starting this little project came from an article I read on CSS-Tricks by Matthias Ott. His post is titled Make It Personal. It's a great read.

My plan is to build this site to showcase my developing skills (such as they are), share my interests and hobbies, start a blog, and basically anything else that comes to mind. Let me share with you what I have so far.

That's OK, though. This is suppossed to be a process. Over the next few weeks, I'm going to put together a schedule of shipping improvements, writing articles, and learning about all the cool web stuff I've wanted to try, but never had a good reason. Now I don't need a reason. It will go on this site just because I want it to. That may be the theme of this site. Just because.
